Former U.S. Rep. Heather Wilson of New Mexico, a Republican, ripped into U.S. Rep. Martin Heinrich, D-N.M., during their debate Thursday night in Albuquerque, in advance of the Nov. 6 election to see who will fill a U.S. Senate seat.
“We’ve lost 30,000 jobs,” said Wilson, according to a KRQE video clip. “The price of groceries is up. The price of gas is up. The cost of a college education is through the roof. And you’re trying to help the middle class?…Quit helping.”
